Our Preschool Staff

Mrs. Crystal Meck, Preschool Director of Admissions and Development, obtained her Associates Degree in Business Administration from Northampton Community College and her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Kutztown University. Mrs. Meck has previously served on the parent committee and as a substitute teacher.

Mrs. Mara Mackiewicz, Prekindergarten 5 Teacher, received a Bachelor's in Elementary Education from King's College. Mrs. Mackiewicz's teaching career involved teaching second grade and middle school at St. Jude's in Mountaintop, PA and preschool (4's & 5's) at Holy Spirit Nursery School in Emmaus. She also has volunteered in classroom settings in the East Penn School District and St. Thomas More, Religious Education, Allentown.

Mrs. Cathy Bilger, Prekindergarten 5 Teacher Assistant, began her career at Concordia in 2006 as the administrative assistant; she became an assistant for the PreK 5 class in 2010.

 

Mrs. April Bispeck, Prekindergarten 4 Teacher, has Bachelor degree in Elementary Education from Penn State University, as well as a Certificate in Montessori Education from Princeton Montessori Academy. She has taught in Kindergarten in State College School District and at Children's House of Bucks County. Mrs. Bispeck also spent one year teaching in East Penn School District.

 

Mrs. Bernadette Van Pelt, Prekindergarten 4 Teacher Assistant, Mrs. Van Pelt has also substituted as an assistant for Toddlers, Threes, PreK 4s, and PreK 5s classes. Mrs. Van Pelt served on our Preschool board for one year.

 

Mrs. Kristi Kitchen, Three-Year-Old Teacher, has been a part of the Concordia Preschool family since 2006. First as a preschool mom, then as a member of the preschool board. In 2016, she joined the preschool staff as a toddler and 3’s teacher assistant. She attended Kutztown University and loves working with kids.

 

Mrs. Karen Smudde, Three-Year-Old Teacher Assistant, began her career at Concordia in 2005. Over the years, she has assisted in the Threes, Fours, and Toddler classrooms. Mrs. Smudde has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.

 

Mrs. Linzi Gill, Toddler Lead, has a Bachelor of Science from Penn State University in communication disorders and her Masters in Early Childhood Education from Arcadia University. She previously taught Early Childhood and Kindergarten for the Deaf. Mrs. Gill is fluent in American Sign Language. She has 2 daughters, one of which attended Concordia Preschool.

Mrs. Mary Patricia Fletcher, Three-Year-Old Teacher and Toddler Assistant, has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech. She was a Concordia Preschool mom and home-schooled 2 of her children. She has also taught Sunday school and crafts for Vacation Bible School. During the 2020-21 school year, she supervised the school age children of the Concordia Preschool teachers and substituted as an assistant in the Threes and Pre-K 5 classes. Mrs. Fletcher and her family are members of Concordia Lutheran church.

Mrs. Amanda Marzari, Prekindergarten 4 Teacher and Three-Year-Old Teacher Assistant, has a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Liberty University and is currently working towards a Master's degree in Elementary Education at Kutztown University. She has taught in children's ministries as Sunday School and Vacation Bible School teachers and in a preschool setting as a music teacher, assistant teacher and a lead Three's teacher.

Mrs. Ann Laudenschlager, Prekindergarten 4 Teacher, Ann is married to her husband Todd, She has 3 daughters and 4 grandchildren. She has an A.A.S. from LCCC in Early Childhood and Early Intervention. She has over 15 years of experience teaching young children. Previously, she taught at Concordia Lutheran Preschool, in the EPSD supporting young children with special needs and at another area preschool.

Rev. Waldemar Vinovskis, Pastor, received his Bachelor degree studying Human Development and Psychology. He also holds a Master of Divinity degree in Theology and Pastoral Care. Before coming to Pennsylvania, he served churches in both northern and southern California. Pastor Vinovskis has been Pastor of Concordia Lutheran Church since February 2001. Please feel free to speak with him about any pastoral care needs you may have and to learn more about Concordia’s ministry to families and children.
